Job Overview
La Place Rendez-Vous is hiring a dependable Housekeeper to maintain clean, comfortable rooms and common areas while supporting a welcoming environment for guests and clients in Fort Frances, Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works efficiently, and provides respectful service when responding to guest requests. You will complete daily housekeeping tasks such as floor care, dusting, vacuuming, bed-making, restocking linens and amenities, disinfecting kitchens and bathrooms, and removing garbage. The position may also include assisting clients with bathing and basic personal hygiene support as required, so professionalism, discretion, and a caring attitude are important.

Languages: English

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Or equivalent experience

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant housekeeping or cleaning experience (hotel, lodge, facility, or residential)

Work Setting

• Housekeeping environment with daily room turnovers and service standards
• Shift-based work including morning and night coverage

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
• Dust furniture and wipe surfaces, including high-touch points
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets to required standards
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries and restock amenities as needed
• Stock linen closet and keep supplies organized and available for daily work
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers; replace liners as needed
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties across assigned rooms and areas
• Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items in a polite, timely manner
• Provide basic information on facilities and direct guests appropriately
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene when required, ensuring privacy, dignity, and safety
• Report maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly

• Ability to work independently and manage assigned rooms/tasks within time targets
