Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support to clients with various needs, illnesses, and disabilities.
• Follow person-centered care plans to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
• Encourage clients’ independence and avoid fostering dependency.
• Assist with morning and bedtime routines, including washing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support with toileting, continence management, and personal hygiene.
• Help with medication administration as per care plans.
• Prepare meals, catering to individual preferences, nutritional needs, and cultural requirements.
• Perform light household duties, such as cleaning and laundry.
• Safely use manual handling equipment.
• Develop positive relationships with clients, offering companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients on community outings and help manage personal affairs.
• Ensure a safe and respectful living environment for all clients.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Essential: A valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Willingness to travel (100%).
• Residing within 5 miles of Leeds.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in home care.
• GCSE or equivalent education level.
