Responsibilities
As a Material Handler, your responsibilities will include:
- Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
- Operating various equipment to manage materials and products.
- Picking orders and stocking items.
- Creating labels and attaching them to goods.
- Providing customer service support.
- Wrapping goods for transport or storage.
- Packing and unpacking goods.
- Sorting, crating, and stacking goods.
- Installing, lashing, and securing goods.
- Storing cargo and materials appropriately.
- Transporting and distributing materials and goods.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory.
- Managing inventories using computerized inventory control systems.
Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials
Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses:
- Narrow aisle forklift training
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Experience and Specialization:
Vehicle and Equipment Experience:
- Industrial lift trucks and forklifts
- Area of Specialization:
