Responsibilities
As a Health Care Aide, your duties include:

• Accompanying patients on outdoor recreational activities.
• Performing personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Supplying and emptying bedpans and maintaining patient rooms.
• Serving meal trays and assisting with feeding patients.
• Weighing, lifting, turning, and positioning patients.
• Delivering messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments.
• Supervising patients’ exercise routines and transporting them via wheelchair or stretcher.
• Answering call signals to determine patients’ needs.
• Administering first aid in emergencies and collecting specimens.
• Ensuring the comfort and safety of patients by maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Setting:

• Urban area
• Nursing home/home for the aged

Credentials: Health Care Aide Certificate
