Responsibilities
As a Health Care Aide, your duties include:
- Accompanying patients on outdoor recreational activities.
- Performing personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supplying and emptying bedpans and maintaining patient rooms.
- Serving meal trays and assisting with feeding patients.
- Weighing, lifting, turning, and positioning patients.
- Delivering messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments.
- Supervising patients’ exercise routines and transporting them via wheelchair or stretcher.
- Answering call signals to determine patients’ needs.
- Administering first aid in emergencies and collecting specimens.
- Ensuring the comfort and safety of patients by maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting:
- Urban area
- Nursing home/home for the aged
Credentials: Health Care Aide Certificate

Education and Certifications Required
