Job Title: Caregiver (With Sponsorship)

Schedule: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Overnight

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide personalized support to a 65-year-old single male in Red Deer, AB. The role involves assisting with household duties, meal preparation, laundry, and escorting the client to appointments.

Household cleaning and chores
Laundry management
Meal preparation and planning
Grocery shopping
Escorting to medical and personal appointments

Additional Information:

Family can provide a car for job-related use
Flexible schedule with 20-30 hours per week
Salary negotiable based on experience

Care Requirements:

Experience working with individuals with dementia or physical limitations (e.g., fractured hip) is an asset

Personal Suitability

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Empathetic, patient, and attentive
Proactive and organized
Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly

Qualifications and Requirements

Personal Support Worker (PSW) or Health Care Aide (HCA) Certificate is preferred but not required
Experience in one-on-one home care is an asset
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for rural locations (Red Deer, Lacombe, Ponoka, Wetaskiwin)
Willingness to provide live-in care (if applicable)
