Consolidated Gypsum Supply is seeking Warehouse Material Handlers to join our team in Edmonton, AB. This role involves assembling customer orders, sorting materials, and ensuring efficient operations in our warehouses and outdoor storage yards. Candidates will need to work in all weather conditions and be physically fit to handle the demands of the job.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and move building materials manually or using material handling equipment.
Conduct inspections, complete paperwork, and perform cycle counting.
Organize and store building materials in designated areas within the warehouse or outdoor yard.
Pick and assemble customer and delivery orders.
Operate mid-to-large size sit-down counterbalance propane forklifts.
Assist pick-up customers and load their materials.
Perform general warehouse housekeeping duties.
Take photos of incoming deliveries and customer pick-ups.

Requirements

Valid forklift license and experience operating sit-down counterbalance propane forklifts.
Previous warehouse experience.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs for extended periods and repeatedly stand, bend, and move during shifts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
Obtain a satisfactory criminal record check.
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Working Conditions

No Sundays and no shift work.
Full-time, year-round employment.
Physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy building materials such as drywall and roofing supplies.
Work involves both indoor and outdoor activities in diverse weather conditions.
