Come spend your season in Canada’s famous Similkameen Organic Valley picking the sweetest apples and stone fruit in the country! Work surrounded by mountains, clean air, and some of the friendliest crews in BC. No experience needed – we train everyone who brings energy and a smile.

Requirements

• Basic English
• No education or experience required – full training on day one
• Physically fit and ready for active outdoor work in sun and fresh air
• Good eyesight and ability to distinguish colours (important for picking ripe fruit)
• Happy to stand, bend, reach, and climb ladders all day

What You’ll Do

• Harvest crops carefully and efficiently, following quality standards and instructions
• Pick apples and other orchard fruits by hand, using ladders or platforms where required
• Sort and handle harvested fruit to minimize bruising and damage
• Load, unload, and move bins, crates, and containers of fruit
• Assist with basic field and orchard maintenance tasks as directed (e.g., removing debris, simple pruning assistance, basic weeding around trees)
• Follow food safety and farm safety procedures at all times
• Use simple hand tools and equipment safely after training
• Work cooperatively with other team members to meet daily and seasonal harvest targets
• Perform other general farm labour tasks as assigned by supervisors

Earnings & Benefits

• Base $17.85/hour + piece-rate (many workers average $1,800–$2,500+ every two weeks)
• Possible on-farm camping/bunkhouse ($250–$350/month – utilities included)

• End-of-season bonus for workers who stay until the end
