Job Overview
Shadab Sharif is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Care Worker to provide consistent, dignity-first support for an elderly client in a private home in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role is ideal for someone with practical caregiving experience who can assist with personal care, medication routines as directed, basic care tasks such as non-sterile dressing changes and specimen collection, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. You will also provide companionship and help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Administer bedside and personal care while maintaining privacy, dignity, and comfort
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other daily hygiene needs
• Administer medications as directed and follow established schedules and instructions carefully
• Change non-sterile dressings as instructed and within the scope of the role
• Collect specimens as required and follow safe handling and reporting procedures
• Feed or assist in feeding and monitor comfort and safety during meals
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to preferences and any dietary guidance provided
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to keep the home tidy, safe, and hazard-free
• Provide companionship, supportive conversation, and emotional reassurance
• Observe and report changes in condition, appetite, mobility, mood, or routine to the employer promptly
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in a private home environment
