Job Details

Job Title: Dishwasher
Location: 5315 Big White Road, Kelowna, BC
Shift: Morning, Night, Overnight
Wage: $22.60/Hour

Dishwashers are responsible for keeping all areas of the kitchen clean and orderly including utensils, dishes, tools and work stations.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
    Cleaning garbage cans
  • Maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition
  • Placing clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment in storage areas
  • Sorting and removing trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
  • Sweeping and scrubbing floors
  • Assisting with loading and unloading trucks delivering or collecting food and supplies
  • Assisting with receiving and storing supplies
  • Stocking supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars
  •  Transfering supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks

Physical demands:

Ability to lift 33-55lbs/15-25 kg regularly
Ability to bend, squat, kneel, stand throughout day
