- Adding cleaning agents: Dish washers are responsible for adding the appropriate cleaning agents, such as detergents, rinsing agents, and sanitizers, to the dishwasher according to the manufacturer’s instructions. They must ensure the correct amounts are used for effective cleaning and sanitization.
- Monitoring machine operations: Throughout the cleaning process, dish washers monitor the dishwasher to ensure it is functioning properly. They check for any malfunctions, leaks, or errors and report them to the supervisor or maintenance staff.
- Unloading and organizing: Once the dishes are cleaned and sanitized, dish washers unload them from the dishwasher and place them in appropriate storage areas. They must organize the clean dishes efficiently to facilitate easy access for kitchen staff.
