Responsibilities
- Supply and empty bedpans.
- Serve meal trays and assist patients with feeding.
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients as needed.
- Make beds and maintain cleanliness in patients’ rooms.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming of patients.
- Transport patients using a wheelchair or stretcher.
Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience an asset
Work Setting: Nursing home/home for the aged
Credentials:
- First Aid Certificate
- Health Care Aide Certificate
