Responsibilities

• Supply and empty bedpans.
• Serve meal trays and assist patients with feeding.
• Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients as needed.
• Make beds and maintain cleanliness in patients’ rooms.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming of patients.
• Transport patients using a wheelchair or stretcher.

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience an asset

Work Setting: Nursing home/home for the aged

Credentials:

• First Aid Certificate
• Health Care Aide Certificate
