Valley Prime Caregivers is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Continuing Care Assistants. This is a fulfilling opportunity to provide essential support to patients and residents in a variety of healthcare settings while working in a professional and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities.
• Provide personal care and assist with hygiene-related tasks.
• Supply and empty bedpans.
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Serve meal trays and assist in feeding patients.
• Lift, weigh, turn, and position patients safely.
• Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments.
• Maintain patient rooms by making beds and ensuring cleanliness.
• Bathe, dress, and groom patients.
• Transport patients between facilities or within the care setting using wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Answer call signals and attend to patients’ needs promptly.
• Collect medical specimens as required.
• Administer first aid in emergency situations.

Requirements

• Languages: English.
• Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
