We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to provide dedicated support for a 2-year-old child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The caregiver will work closely with the family and under the guidance of a certified therapist to implement ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy techniques, while also addressing the child’s daily needs, developmental goals, and well-being.

This role also includes occasional care for the child’s 3-year-old sibling and maintaining a structured, culturally sensitive environment in a practicing Muslim Shia household.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy plans under the supervision of a certified therapist.
• Monitor, document, and communicate the child’s progress and behavior.
• Establish and maintain consistent routines to support the child’s learning and development.
• Assist with daily care tasks, including feeding, bathing, and dressing.
• Engage the child in age-appropriate activities to encourage skill-building.
• Provide occasional support for the child’s 3-year-old sibling.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding updates, challenges, and progress.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of caregiving experience with children with autism or special needs.
• Preferred: Experience in ABA therapy or related developmental techniques.
• Education: High school diploma required. Post-secondary education in related fields (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy) is an asset.
• Language Skills: Arabic fluency preferred for communication; English required.
• Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.

Compensation
