Job Overview
Shepherd’s Care Foundation is seeking compassionate and dedicated Casual Health Care Aides (HCAs) to provide resident-focused care in our Barrhead facility. If you are a Health Care Aide funded by the Health Care Aide Tuition Bursary Program and need to complete your return of service, we are an eligible continuing care operator. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide meal service, mobility support, and transfers in a safe, caring manner.

• Work as part of a clinical care team to create a comfortable, home-like environment for residents.

Qualifications:

• Must be registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
• Completion of Bridging Modules (if applicable).
• Strong ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
