This position is ideal for someone caring, patient, and responsible, who enjoys working with infants and young children in a home environment. You will provide attentive, hands-on care, help with daily routines, and support the children’s emotional and physical well-being. The role also includes light housekeeping related to the children and occasional travel with the family.

Your Core Responsibilities
Childcare Duties:

• Supervise and care for children with attention, patience, and affection
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children according to daily routines
• Change diapers and maintain proper hygiene standards
• Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas for infants
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods and ensure proper sleep schedules
• Discipline children according to methods and guidelines requested by parents
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children through supportive interaction
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
• Monitor children’s development and communicate progress to parents

Household Duties:

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children and family
• Cook healthy, balanced meals tailored to children’s dietary needs
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Shop for food and household supplies as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment in the home
• Organize children’s belongings, toys, and play areas

Additional Responsibilities:

• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• Adapt to family routines and special requirements
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding children’s activities and needs

Requirements

• Language: English proficiency required
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of childcare or related experience

Mandatory Certifications

• Valid CPR Certificate (current)
• Current First Aid Certificate

Physical Demands

• Physically demanding role requiring stamina and energy
• Handling heavy loads (lifting children, groceries, household items)
• Repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and carrying
• Ability to keep pace with active children throughout the day
• Comfortable working flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
