The Milton Cook Chill (CCFPC) is a HACCP Certified Food Production Center that prepares and assembles meals daily. Tasks include food preparation, assembling hot and cold food items, and maintaining cleanliness.

Located within the grounds of Maplehurst Correctional Facility, Cook Chill operates as an independent production facility separate from the correctional complex. There are no inmates on site, and Compass associates have no interaction with inmates. The facility is strictly dedicated to food preparation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform prep work: washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
  • Transport food trays, kettles, and pans safely to and from workstations.
  • Store food following proper wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
  • Perform cleaning tasks, including trash disposal.
  • Distribute kitchen supplies, utensils, and equipment as needed.
  • Follow approved food recipes and production standards for quality and portion control.
  • Maintain compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Serve customers efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications & Skills:
