Delivery Driver Position Summary :

• As a vital part of our team, the Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to customer service excellence through timely and efficient deliveries.
• This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to our daily operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

• Operating a G class company pick-up truck (manual transmission) for local deliveries.
• Familiarity with the Waterloo Region and GTA for efficient route planning.
• Handling and preparing scrap material for shipment.
• Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks when necessary.
• Maintaining shop cleanliness and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Operation of forklift and overhead crane as required.
• Additional duties within the shop and warehouse as needed.

Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications :

• Valid Full G class driver’s license with a clear driving record.
• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Forklift Certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mandatory use of steel toe boots and safety glasses.
• Strong customer service skills, ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Strong mathematical and mechanical skills, attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems.

Additional Requirements :

• Successful candidates must pass a Criminal Records Check and Controlled Goods Clearance.
• Work Schedule : Full-Time (30-40 hours / week), Day shift, Monday to Friday with flexible hours to meet customer needs.
