Domric International Ltd., one of Ontario’s top greenhouse vegetable producers, is urgently hiring motivated Greenhouse Workers to join our team in Ruthven, Ontario. No experience? No problem – we provide full paid training! What You’ll Do

• Plant, transplant, and space seedlings and rooted cuttings
• Prune, clip, tie, and lower vegetable plants (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers)
• Water and monitor plants daily using automated systems and by hand
• Report any signs of insects, disease, or plant stress to supervisors
• Assist with harvesting and packing fresh produce
• Clean and maintain greenhouses and work areas
• Work at heights on elevated platforms and perform repetitive lower-body movements (bending, crouching, kneeling)

What We’re Looking For

• No education or previous experience required – we train you completely
• Ability to work in hot, humid, and wet greenhouse conditions
• Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
• Reliable transportation to Ruthven (public transit is not available)
• Willingness to work flexible and rotating shifts including weekends
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

• Ability to work at heights when required

• Capable of lifting and carrying plants, soil, and materials
• Comfortable working in high humidity environments

Work Environment

• Greenhouse setting in a rural area
• Work may involve heights when tending to tall plants or climbing ladders
• Wet and damp conditions due to watering and humidity control
• Hot temperatures inside greenhouse facilities, especially during warmer months
• Climate-controlled environment with temperature variations
• Fast-paced atmosphere during peak growing and harvesting seasons
