Full Job Description
- Salary: £26,180 per year
- Hours: 38 hours per week

As a French Early Years Teacher, you will:
- Assist with daily routines, supervising and guiding children in their activities.
- Help prepare and organise learning materials and activities.
- Support children during personal care routines.
- Assist with settling new children, following the nursery’s Settling in Policy.
- Collaborate with the Key Person to carry out daily duties effectively.
- You will be based at our Tufnell Park or Crouch Hill nursery, working across all age groups.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
- CAP Petite Enfance
- Diplôme d’État d’Auxiliaire de Puériculture
- Diplôme d’État d’Éducateur de Jeunes Enfants
- An Ofsted-recognised Level 3 or above qualification
- An Ofsted-recognised Montessori qualification
Additionally, candidates must have at least one year of experience in a nursery setting.
Required Skills
- Ability to communicate with and understand children.
- Excellent people skills to effectively communicate with parents.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English (and French, if applying as a French speaker).
- Competent IT skills (e.g., Word, email).
- Confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude.
- Strong listening, problem-solving, and self-reflection skills.
- Ability to accept constructive criticism and work collaboratively.
Study Requirement
Unqualified candidates must commit to studying for an Ofsted-recognised early years qualification (EYFS).
