Job Overview
Jun Wei Siew is seeking an experienced Home Support Worker to provide consistent, high-quality personal care and home support in a private home setting in Abbotsford, British Columbia. This role is ideal for a dependable caregiver who can follow care routines accurately, assist with hygiene and mobility, prepare nutritious meals, maintain a safe home environment, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. You will support the client’s comfort, dignity, and daily independence while maintaining strong attention to safety and cleanliness. If you are organized, flexible with scheduling, and confident working independently in a home environment, this is an excellent opportunity for stable, permanent full-time employment with LMIA sponsorship available for eligible international candidates.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience in home support, caregiving, PSW/HCA work, or similar personal care roles

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

Administer bedside and personal care with respect for privacy, dignity, and comfort
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other aspects of personal hygiene
Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, following instructions and schedules carefully
Assist in regular exercise such as walking and light mobility routines as appropriate
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to preferences and any dietary guidance provided
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a tidy, hazard-free home environment
Launder clothing and household linens; fold, store, and keep supplies organized
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including basic infection-control and cleanliness practices
Observe and report changes in routine, appetite, mobility, mood, or overall condition to the employer promptly
Follow household routines and care instructions consistently and document tasks or notes when requested

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Physically demanding work with repetitive tasks
Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Ability to stand, walk, and assist with mobility and daily routines throughout shifts
Ability to remain attentive during on-call periods and respond calmly to changing needs
