TEEMA Solutions is currently seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) to join our pipeline for a rewarding long-term contract opportunity at a reputable corrections facility in Corcoran, California.

This position offers an excellent pay rate of $75 / hr with a portion being approved for stipend pay.

Requirements :

• Valid California nurse license.
• Minimum of 12 months of RN experience.
• Passion for serving the underserved population.

Responsibilities :

• As an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care and promoting the well-being of patients within the corrections facility.

Key responsibilities include :

Nursing Care Provision :

• Implementing comprehensive nursing care plans, including the administration of medication, therapeutic agents, treatments, and disease prevention measures.
• Following physician orders and obtaining specimens for diagnostic testing.
• Assisting physicians with medical or minor surgical procedures.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Collaborative Treatment Efforts :

• Participating actively in the development of multidisciplinary treatment plans.
• Contributing valuable insights as a nursing professional to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient Assessment and Evaluation :

• Conducting ongoing patient assessments and providing appropriate therapeutic interventions based on their physical and psychological status.
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of patient treatment regimens, documenting progress, and adjusting care plans as necessary.

Documentation and Reporting :

• Recording all nursing activities meticulously in medical records, including initial nursing assessments, treatment interventions, and patient education.

Schedule :

• This is a full-time position offering a 40-hour work week, distributed across 5 days.
