Position Summary:

As a Warehouse Worker at Martin Brower, you’ll work both independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth warehouse operations. You’ll handle various warehouse duties with minimal supervision, requiring strong judgment and understanding of company policies. This role covers multiple positions within our distribution center, including General Warehouse Worker, Dryer/Cooler Picker, and Freezer Picker. The starting wage is $27 per hour with additional premiums of up to $1 per hour for freezer and dry/cooler pickers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Replenishment, Receiving, and Putaway:
• Replenish line, flow racks, and bulk locations.
• Rotate inventory, particularly in the freezer, cooler, and dry areas.
• Perform accurate receiving of in-bound loads.
• Address labeling issues during restocking and ensure proper dock flow.
• Conduct accurate product put-away and resolve any issues by shift end.

Freezer/Cooler Selection:

• Perform freezer/cooler and dry/cooler selection to load products onto company trailers.
• Ensure proper sequencing and loading of pallets/carts.
• Guarantee load quality and reliability.
• Put away all returns at shift end.
• General Responsibilities:
• Change batteries in equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Adhere to quality standards and identify unsafe conditions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to work in cold/freezer environments.
• Capable of lifting and moving heavy boxes (up to 55 lbs).
• Experience in high-volume warehousing, food service, distribution, or logistics is an asset.
• Forklift and electric pallet jack experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, work ethic, and positive attitude.
• Effective time management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:
This role requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and shifts that may change based on business demands. You will be required to wear safety boots, and uniforms will be provided.
