Job Summary
The Experienced Caregiver plays a vital role in the home care team, working under the supervision of the Care Coordinator. Responsibilities include performing various personal care services tailored to the client’s needs and ensuring their safety and comfort.

Personal Care & Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide personal care, assist with transfers using mechanical lifts, catheter care, and ambulation.
Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and provide meal assistance.
Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Companionship: Accompany clients on outings, provide companionship, and support their emotional well-being.
Errands & Shopping: Assist clients with shopping and errands.
Medication Management: Provide medication reminders as per the care plan.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation and charting of care provided.

Qualifications

Clean Background Check (or willingness to obtain one).
Personal care and transfer assistance experience required.
Ability to travel within Vancouver.
