Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products
• Perform corrective machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance
• Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions
• Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain hygiene standards
• Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities promptly
• Make adjustments to process variables including temperature, pressure, and flow rates
• Maintain shift log of production and other data accurately
• Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines for production runs
• Check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards
• Operate pasteurization equipment according to food safety protocols
• Monitor pasteurization temperatures and holding times to ensure product safety
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations
• Assist with changeovers between production runs
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
• Ensure proper sanitation of all processing equipment
• Report any food safety concerns immediately
• Collaborate with quality assurance team on product testing
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
