Responsibilities
- Operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products
- Perform corrective machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance
- Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions
- Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain hygiene standards
- Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities promptly
- Make adjustments to process variables including temperature, pressure, and flow rates
- Maintain shift log of production and other data accurately
- Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines for production runs
- Check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards
- Operate pasteurization equipment according to food safety protocols
- Monitor pasteurization temperatures and holding times to ensure product safety
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations
- Assist with changeovers between production runs
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Ensure proper sanitation of all processing equipment
- Report any food safety concerns immediately
- Collaborate with quality assurance team on product testing
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives

Credentials (Preferred)
