Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
• Ensure that farm safety and bio-security procedures are strictly followed
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Supervise and oversee growing and crop-related operations
• Maintain work records and logs
• Perform general farm duties as needed

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Supervision: Managing a team of 5-10 people

Work Environment

• Exposure to farm machinery and livestock (if applicable)

Skills & Knowledge Needed

• Knowledge of crop production and harvesting techniques
• Experience with farm machinery operation and maintenance
• Understanding of workplace safety and bio-security protocols
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Education & Certification Required

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Training in agricultural management is an asset
• First Aid and Safety Training is recommended
