Responsibilities

• Transport goods over long distances in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road readiness.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and complete all required paperwork.
• Comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
• Secure cargo properly and handle freight with care.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Licence (preferred) with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in long-haul driving is an asset.
• Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic automotive repairs while on the road if needed.
• Familiarity with freight handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
