Ford Motor Company of Canada’s Paris Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) is one of three Canadian PDCs integral to delivering automotive service parts to dealers across the country. We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our outbound operations and ensure on-time customer delivery. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a unionized hourly workforce while fostering a positive work environment.
• Uphold company policies related to work expectations, discipline, training, and personnel administration.
• Deliver on key objectives for Safety, Cleanliness, Quality, Cost, and Productivity.
• Encourage collaboration with UNIFOR employees and leadership.
• Conduct crew meetings and ensure effective communication.
• Calculate daily labor hour requirements, ensuring proper manpower utilization, including overtime and vacation planning.
• Coach safety, quality, and productivity to meet standardized work objectives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and resolve issues at the lowest level.
• Oversee daily material handling functions, ensuring seamless material flow from receiving dock to warehouse storage and customer delivery.
• Provide resource allocation guidance and address material flow issues proactively.
• Implement Engineering Change Processes effectively.
• Identify and address data gaps with corrective actions.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Completion of post-secondary education.
• Experience: Ability to work independently and on rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Proven capability to assign work, hold employees accountable, and maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills.
• Effective problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
• Leadership in fostering teamwork, communication, and employee recognition.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Operations, Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain
• Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience:Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and constraint management.
• Safety and Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L) experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
