As a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care while supporting the multidisciplinary team in Trauma Unit 1.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate RCHT’s Nursing and Midwifery 5 key elements and Trust values in all tasks.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Assist patients with personal care and daily activities while maintaining their dignity.
- Accurately document patient activity and progress, ensuring confidentiality.
- Provide basic information to patients and their families.
- Participate in team meetings, handovers, and discussions about patient care and departmental development.
- Accept and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth.
- Maintain professional boundaries and uphold trust values.
