As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes or retirement residences. Your work will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities
As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), you will:

• Assist clients with daily personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, skin/nail care, back care, and foot care.
• Support safe mobility and transfers using assistive devices.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Offer respite care services for family members.

Qualifications & Requirements

• PSW certification or equivalent:
  • Developmental Support Worker (DSW),
  • Second-year Nursing Student, or
  • Internationally trained Nurse.
• Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle.
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of 140 William St N, Lindsay, ON.

Work Environment

• Work in private homes, retirement residences, or long-term care facilities.
• Flexible but physically demanding work schedule.
• Interaction with clients of all ages, including seniors and individuals with disabilities.
• May require lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.
• Work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
