Job Duties
As a Personal Assistant, your responsibilities include:

• Care and Companionship: Support individuals and families during times of need, including incapacitation or family disruption.
• Personal Care: Assist with ambulation, bathing, hygiene, and dressing/undressing.
• Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and serve meals, including special dietary needs.
• Health-Related Tasks: Help with medication administration, change non-sterile dressings, and collect specimens under supervision.
• Housekeeping: Perform household tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and bed-making.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent bending, twisting, and repetitive motions.
• Manual handling of materials.
• Periods of standing, walking, and occasional running.

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
• Experience: 1–2 years
• Work Site Environment: Non-smoking
• Credentials: Personal Support Worker Certificate

Experience and Specialization:

• Target audience includes adults and elderly individuals.
