What the Role Looks Like

• Provide loving, attentive care for young children in a safe and nurturing home environment
• Bathe, dress, feed, and play with the children while supporting their daily routines
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks, including infant formulas and bottles
• Plan and lead fun, educational activities, games, and outings
• Help with school drop-off/pick-up and appointments
• Teach good manners, personal hygiene, and positive behaviour using parent-approved methods
• Keep daily records of activities, meals, naps, and any health observations
• Light housekeeping related to the children (laundry, tidying play areas, cleaning up after meals)
• Step in to manage the household when parents are away

What You Bring

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• At least 1 month to less than 7 months of childcare experience (or equivalent training)
• Genuine love for children and patience in every situation
• First Aid & CPR certification is an asset (we can help you obtain it)
• Clear criminal record check and references
• Ability to create a fun, structured, and safe environment
