Job Overview
The Wong Family in Brampton is looking for a kind, patient, and reliable Home Health Care Worker to provide personalized, in-home support to an elderly female family member with a disability. Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

  • Administer bedside and personal care, following the care plan and family instructions
  • Assist client with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene while maintaining dignity and privacy
  • Provide personal care to support mobility, toileting, and comfort throughout the day
  • Assist in regular exercise, such as walks or gentle movements, as appropriate for the client’s abilities and health status
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are respected
  • Plan and, when required, prepare therapeutic diets and menus tailored to health conditions (with guidance from family or health professionals)
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the client’s living areas (e.g., tidying room, washing dishes, wiping surfaces, maintaining a clean, safe environment)
  • Launder and organize the client’s clothing and linens as needed
  • Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support to reduce isolation and promote mental well-being
  • Observe and report any changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition to family or appropriate contacts
  • Support the client in maintaining as much independence as safely possible in daily activities
  • Respect family routines, cultural practices, and privacy at all times
