A. Chan is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to assist clients with their daily living activities in a home setting. This role requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills who can provide high-quality care and support to clients needing personal and medical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care
• Administer medications
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking
• Feed or assist in feeding
• Provide personal care

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Work Site Environment

• Understanding of infection control and hygiene practices

Education and Certification Required

• Secondary school graduation certificate
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
• On-the-job training provided
• Previous experience in a caregiving role is an asset
