Experience: 1 to less than 7 months (additional housekeeping experience an asset)

Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to resort standards
- Dust furniture and surfaces throughout guest rooms and public areas
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- Make beds and change sheets to luxury hospitality standards
- Distribute clean towels and premium toiletries to guest rooms
- Stock linen closets and housekeeping carts efficiently
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Disinfect operating rooms and other specialized areas
- Clean and disinfect elevators and high-touch surfaces
- Handle and report lost and found items according to protocol
- Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items promptly
- Provide basic information on resort facilities and amenities
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the property
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as required
- Clean changing rooms and showers in recreational facilities
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns with professionalism
- Replenish guest amenities and minibar items
- Report any maintenance issues or damage to management
- Ensure all guest rooms meet Cabot Cape Breton quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and public spaces
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times
- Support turndown service and special guest requests
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned
Own Tools and Equipment (Recommended)
- Non-slip, comfortable work shoes
- Professional work attire suitable for hospitality environment
Security and Safety Requirements
- Criminal record check may be required
- References may be required
- Commitment to workplace safety and hygiene standards
- Knowledge of WHMIS (an asset)
