Job Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, including personal care
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents
• Prepare simple meals and snacks as needed
• Work collaboratively with a healthcare team to ensure quality care
• Maintain cleanliness and perform light housekeeping duties

Qualifications

• Certificate: Health Care Aide Certificate (required)
• Experience: Minimum two years of health care aide experience, with long-term care and/or palliative care experience as an asset
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks
