Key Responsibilities

• Address customer complaints or concerns professionally.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Safely load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition and conduct inspections (tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, etc.).
• Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in top condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of the vehicle.
• Relay information to central dispatch and maintain communication.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo during transport.

Qualifications
Education:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience:

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Class 3/3F/DF License (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement required.

Documentation Knowledge:

• Accident or incident reports.
• Inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip).
• Maintenance and repair reports.
• Trip reports.
