Job Overview
Reynolds Hotel is hiring a Cleaner to support housekeeping operations in our hotel setting in Lillooet, British Columbia. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works efficiently, and provides friendly, respectful service to guests. No previous experience is required because training will be provided, making this a great opportunity to build hospitality skills and transition from part-time into a stable full-time role. You will clean guest rooms and common areas, restock linens and amenities, respond to guest requests, and help maintain a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
• Dust furniture and wipe surfaces, including high-touch areas
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets to hotel standards
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries and restock room amenities
• Stock linen closet and keep housekeeping supplies organized
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers; replace liners as needed
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as required
• Handle and report lost and found items according to hotel procedures
• Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items in a polite, timely manner
• Provide basic information on facilities and direct guests appropriately
• Report maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures, damaged items) to the supervisor promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow proper use of cleaning products and equipment
