Job Title: Cook/Kitchen Helper

Shift: Morning, Night, Overnight
Wage: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Sandwich and Burger Patch is a locally-owned diner in the industrial neighborhood in Southeast Edmonton. We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate in a fast-paced environment for the kitchen, working 5 hours a day (9 AM to 2 PM) five days a week. Our menu primarily consists of breakfast, sandwiches and burgers, as well as other diner-styled classics.

Who we are looking for:

• – Education: No degree or diploma required.
• – Experience: previous Experience and training preferred.
• – Tasks: Dishwashing, using grill, stove, and fryers, assisting in all operations in the Kitchen.

Sandwich and Burger Patch is located in the Strathcona Industrial Park.

What you will do in this role:

1. Keep the dishwashing area and garbage area organized, tidy and clean
2. Set up the dishwashing area and operate dishwashing machine
3. Have clean dishes readily available and put away to serve the food
4. Set up bus pans for soaking and sinks for manual washing
5. Complete cleaning jobs outlined by the management teams
6. Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
7. Assist all teammates whenever needed
