Full Job Description
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, delivering exceptional care to patients and supporting colleagues to achieve the highest standards of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the RCHT Nursing and Midwifery 5 Key Elements and Trust values in all interactions.
  • Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, patients, and their families or carers.
  • Respond to queries, take phone messages, and relay information accurately to patients and team members.
  • Provide basic information and reassurance to patients and their visitors.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient activity and progress.
  • Actively participate in patient care discussions, handovers, and team meetings.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality is respected at all times.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and positive working relationships with patients and colleagues.
