This scholarship is a need based scholarship with three criteria of which you must meet one.
Are you ready to pursue your postgraduate studies at one of the world’s leading arts institutions? Great news! The UAL International Postgraduate £50,000 Scholarship and Accommodation Award is now open for applications. This comprehensive scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation at UAL’s halls of residence, and may also contribute towards living costs. Up to four scholarships are available.

Eligibility Criteria
- Course Offer
- Must hold an offer for a full-time taught master’s course at UAL starting in 2024/25.
- Eligible qualifications: Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MBA, MRes, MSc.
- Course must be delivered full-time in person in London.
- Residency
- Must be ordinarily resident in one of the low-income economy countries listed below or be an asylum seeker in the UK.
- Evidence such as immigration documents or ID must be provided.
- Income
- Annual household income must be £25,000 or less (or equivalent in a qualifying country’s currency).
- Personal Statement
- Respond to the following questions (max 350 words each):
- How would receiving a postgraduate scholarship make a difference to you?
- How do you intend to use the qualification to support your future plans?
- How would you address challenges in your home country?
- How would you uphold the values of social justice and environmental stewardship?

Application Process
Once you’ve received an offer to study at UAL, the ‘my finance and funding’ tab on your applicant portal will be updated from February onwards to include application forms for scholarships you may be eligible for.

- Application: Apply via the UAL applicant portal.
- Notification: If successful, you will receive an award letter via email. Accept the scholarship on your UAL portal.
Receiving Payment
- Tuition fees and accommodation costs are credited directly to your accounts.
- Living costs are paid directly to your bank account on a termly basis.
Additional Information
- Scholarships are awarded by a UAL selection panel based on your application evidence.
- You can only hold one UAL award or scholarship at a time.
