Language Requirements
• French proficiency required for workplace communication and customer service

Experience Requirements
• Previous retail, grocery, or customer service experience considered an asset
• Cashier, stock clerk, or warehouse experience beneficial

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:
• Bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers efficiently and carefully
• Carry customers’ purchases to parking lot and pack in vehicles
• Obtain articles for customers from shelves or stockroom
• Direct customers to location of articles sought
• Assist with customer inquiries professionally and courteously
• Provide excellent customer service creating positive shopping experience
• Answer questions about products, prices, and store policies
• Handle customer concerns with patience and professionalism
Receiving and Inventory Management:
• Unpack products received by store from deliveries
• Count, weigh, or sort items accurately
• Use barcode scanning equipment to record incoming stock
• Verify pricing using scanning systems
• Maintain computerized stock inventory accurately
• Label and document orders properly
• Prepare shipping, customs, and courier documentation when required
• Enter, track, and process customer orders
• Generate inventory reports as needed
• May order stock to maintain inventory levels
Merchandising and Stocking:
• Stock shelves and display areas efficiently
• Keep stock clean, organized, and in proper order
• Price items using stamps or stickers according to price list
• Build attractive product displays
• Rotate stock following FIFO (first-in, first-out) principles
• Ensure proper product placement and signage
• Maintain fully stocked shelves during business hours
• Face products and straighten displays throughout shift
Loss Prevention:
• Attach protective devices to products to protect against shoplifting
• Monitor for potential theft or suspicious activity
• Follow store security procedures
• Ensure high-value items are properly secured
• Report security concerns to management
Equipment Operation:
• May operate carts, dollies, hand trucks for moving merchandise
• May operate forklifts and order pickers (with certification)
• May operate other powered industrial trucks (PIT) when trained
• Use barcode scanners, price guns, and inventory technology
• May operate cash register for transactions
• May process electronic commerce transactions using computer systems
Store Maintenance:
• May sweep aisles and maintain clean floors
• May dust display racks and shelving
• Perform other general cleaning duties as needed
• Keep work areas organized and hazard-free
• Maintain clean, attractive store environment
• Remove cardboard, packaging, and waste properly
• Support overall store cleanliness standards
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
• Fast-paced retail environment with customer interaction
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Repetitive tasks including stocking, scanning, and customer service
• Lifting and carrying products up to 50 lbs regularly
• Bending, reaching, crouching, and kneeling frequently
• Manual dexterity for handling products and operating equipment
• Working in cold storage areas when handling refrigerated/frozen items
• Early morning, day, evening, and shift work
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Attention to detail for inventory accuracy and customer service
• Ability to multitask during busy periods
