Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload goods.
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport materials.
Inspect and oversee vehicle conditions (tires, brakes, lights, cold storage, etc.).
Perform emergency roadside repairs and brake adjustments.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
Communicate with central dispatch and maintain logs (cargo information, fuel consumption, distance traveled, etc.).
Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.

Qualifications:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Licenses & Certifications:

Air Brakes Endorsement.
Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).

Documentation Knowledge:

Accident or incident reports.
Bill of lading, driver logbook, and trip reports.
Dangerous goods occurrence reports.

Work Environment & Travel:

Willingness to travel cross-border and internationally, with extended and overnight trips required.
Employer covers relocation costs for those willing to relocate.

Work Conditions:

Physically demanding with handling heavy loads.
Repetitive tasks and sitting for long periods.
Overtime required.
