Plastiques Gagnon, a well-established plastics manufacturing company in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, is looking for reliable Injection Operators to join its evening and night shift production team. In this role, you will operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines, ensure parts meet quality standards, and keep the production line running smoothly and safely. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a modern factory environment, wants stable full-time hours, and is eager to learn and grow in the plastics industry.

Requirements

• French (good spoken and understanding – daily teamwork and safety instructions)
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• 1 to less than 7 months experience (full training given to motivated candidates)
• Reliable, punctual, and proud of quality work

What You’ll Do

• Operate and monitor injection moulding machines
• Load raw material and perform colour changes
• Remove, inspect, and pack finished plastic parts
• Perform simple quality checks (visual and dimensional)
• Clean machines and work area at the end of each shift
• Follow strict safety and quality procedures
• Report any machine issues immediately

Work Environment and Conditions

• Indoor manufacturing/plant environment
• Standing, walking, bending, and handling materials for extended periods
• Repetitive tasks, including handling small and medium-sized plastic parts
• Exposure to noise, heat from machines, and odours typical of plastic processing (PPE and safety measures in place)
• Fast-paced environment with production targets and deadlines
• Evening and night shift work; must be comfortable working outside regular daytime hours
