Job Overview
Stoneridge Mountain Resort is hiring Housekeeping Attendants to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort in a busy hotel/resort environment in Canmore, Alberta. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in detail work, can meet room turnover targets, and provides friendly, professional service when supporting guest requests. You will clean guest rooms and common areas, restock linens and amenities, support laundry and supply organization, and help keep the resort welcoming and well presented. Experience is an asset, but training will be provided for motivated candidates. Staff accommodation may be available, and candidates willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Or equivalent experience

Experience

• Experience is an asset (hotel/resort housekeeping, cleaning, janitorial, or similar)
• On-the-job training provided

Work Setting

• Hotel, motel, resort

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
• Dust furniture and wipe surfaces, including high-touch areas
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets to resort standards
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries and restock guest-room supplies
• Stock linen closets and maintain organized housekeeping carts and storage areas
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Clean changing rooms and showers and maintain hygiene standards in shared spaces
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as required for deep-cleaning schedules
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers; replace liners as needed
• Clean and disinfect elevators and other public areas as assigned
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas when required by the worksite or assignment
• Handle and report lost and found items according to resort procedures
• Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items in a polite, timely manner
• Provide basic information on facilities and direct guests appropriately
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns professionally and report issues to supervisors when needed
• Report maintenance issues (damaged fixtures, leaks, broken furniture) promptly to support guest readiness
