Job Overview
Ramneet Kaur Gill is seeking a caring and dependable Nanny to provide attentive, nurturing childcare in a private home in Mono, Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with infants and children, understands daily routines, and takes pride in creating a safe, structured, and positive home environment. You will support feeding routines (including bottle sterilization and formula preparation), supervise play and learning activities, prepare nutritious meals, guide children’s hygiene and social development, and assist with rest periods. The successful candidate is trustworthy, patient, and confident taking responsibility for the household when parents are away.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant childcare experience (in-home nannying, daycare support, babysitting, or related caregiving experience)

• Employer’s home in Mono, ON

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Supervise and care for children, ensuring consistent attention, safety, and age-appropriate routines
• Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas according to household instructions and safe handling practices
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, following any dietary guidelines provided by the family
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods and maintain calm, consistent nap/quiet-time routines
• Organize and lead activities such as games, reading, crafts, outdoor play, and outings, supporting learning and healthy development
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, encouraging respectful behaviour and good habits
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children by providing reassurance, positive guidance, and a supportive presence
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including supervising closely and reducing household hazards
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to childcare, such as tidying play areas, cleaning up after meals, and keeping children’s spaces organized
• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, using good judgement and clear communication
