Job Overview
Karat King Inc is hiring seasonal Vegetable Farm Workers to support outdoor crop production in Newmarket, Ontario. This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals who want hands-on agricultural work with training provided and a steady full-time seasonal schedule. You will help plant, cultivate, irrigate, weed, and harvest vegetable crops, working outdoors in all weather conditions. Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Plant crops following instructions for spacing, depth, and handling to support healthy growth
• Cultivate and irrigate crops using basic field methods and equipment as directed
• Weed fields to reduce competition and protect crop yield and quality
• Harvest crops efficiently and carefully to reduce damage and maintain product quality
• Carry and move tools, supplies, and harvested produce as required by daily tasks
• Keep work areas reasonably clean and organized, following farm safety practices
• Report field issues such as pest pressure, plant stress, or irrigation problems to supervisors when observed
• Follow instructions closely and work safely around equipment and other workers

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Ability to work independently once trained and assigned tasks
• Repetitive tasks requiring consistency and focus
• Handling heavy loads as required during harvesting and field work
• Physically demanding work including extended walking and standing in the field
• Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling throughout the day
• Ability to maintain productivity in varying weather conditions
