The responsibilities and tasks related to the job are :
- Perform welding according to the job.
- Select welding wire and adjusts equipment to interpret the work plans to be produced.
- Clean parts before and after welding.
- If necessary, assist the welder-fitter in assembling the parts.
- Assemble parts that do not require a specific work drawing, such as jig assembly.
- Perform maintenance of workstation and plant in general to ensure cleanliness and safety of the premises.
- Report any major equipment breakdowns to the appropriate people and, if necessary, assist with repairs, safety of the premises.
