Key Responsibilities

• Administer and dispense medications, including methadone, suboxone, narcotics, and injections.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and evaluate patient care plans.
• Perform medical tasks such as ECGs, venipunctures, drug screenings, and monitoring vitals.
• Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of medications.
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient care and emergency situations.
• Maintain and update patient information in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Qualifications

• Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses in Ontario (CNO).
• Experience in addiction treatment or a similar healthcare field preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Phlebotomy and Electrocardiogram (ECG) experience is an asset.
• Strong commitment to working with individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges.
