This role involves providing personal care, companionship, and assistance to clients with physical or intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care, including medications.
• Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing.
• Support clients in aquatic activities (e.g., pool).
• Help with regular exercises such as walking.
• Change non-sterile dressings and provide basic medical care as required.
• Assist in feeding and preparing meals.
• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work Site Environment

• Non-smoking
• Rural area
• Work in employer’s/client’s home
