Job Overview
Concrete 4 Life Ltd is a hands-on Edmonton crew that turns fresh pours into flat, durable, ready-for-life surfaces – from shop floors and warehouse slabs to sidewalks and custom residential work. We’re hiring a skilled finisher who takes pride in straightedges, clean edges, and long-term cures. This is more than hourly pay; it’s a permanent slot on a team that values punctuality on site, safety under pressure, and offers legitimate LMIA support so proven tradespeople abroad can land, work legally, and grow with year-round projects. If you can read grade, run a power trowel, and still spot a missed hollow before it sets, we’ll pair your craft with steady pay and paperwork you can build on.

- Strike off, screed, bull-float, then level top surface to specified grade, depth, and slope
- Fill hollows, cut down high spots, and remove surface imperfections on freshly poured cement
- Impart desired finish (smooth steel-trowel, broom, exposed aggregate, edging) using hand tools and power trowels/screeds
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, joint materials, and other embedded fixtures accurately
- Apply hardening, sealing, curing compounds and membranes; monitor initial set and protect from weather damage
- Waterproof/damp-proof, patch, repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of existing concrete
- Clean tools, maintain equipment, and uphold worksite safety and traffic-control protocols
Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities
- Very physically demanding; standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling for extended periods on hard surfaces
- Repeated handling of heavy loads (lifting/carrying up to 35 kg / 70 lbs), vibrating tools, and awkward weather conditions
- Shift flexibility required; early placements before sunrise, possible night/weekend cures, and overtime in peak season
